September 11 battle

American atheists continue their battle to block a museum exhibit dedicated to the victims of September 11. A large cross was made of one of the twin towers’ t-beams and became a national symbol in the days after the 2001 attacks.

The atheists argue that a religious symbol has no place in a memorial that is backed by public funds and that is supposed to serve as a monument to victims of many different religions, and to those who had no religion at all. The president of the group American Atheists, David Silverman, says that “this case is about inclusion, it is not about the elimination of religion, it is about the inclusion of everyone”.  Read about it on www.cnn.com.

It is kind of ironic that the atheists want to exclude God in an attempt to include all people. If there is anyone who actually is including every single human being, believers and non-believers, it is God! He sent His Son to all people.

One of the better presidents that the USA has ever had, Ronald Reagan, said that “we are never defeated unless we give up on God”. Dear Americans, do not let the terror attacks defeat you. Do not allow God to be excluded from the memorial sites.
