Live by faith

When Jesus born, an angel came with great news to the shepards, telling them about a great joy for all people. This joy was that Jesus was born. There is no reason to be ashamed of the gospel because it has power to save everyone who believes.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, … . For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith”. (Romans 1:16-17)

God’s righteousness is God’s way to justify sinners. We cannot be saved by our own works. Also in the Old Testament, this is confirmed. For example in Habakkuk 2:4 where it says that the just shall live by faith. There is no other way to salvation than through faith in Jesus Christ.
